LIV&LOE CHARITY OF CHOICE
Super Woman Michelle
And why Liv&Loe chooses to support her.
The story behind One At A Time Pet Rescue
“I met Michelle more than 25 years ago, and she changed the way I see animals forever.”
Michelle opened my eyes to puppy farms, backyard breeders, pet shops and Oscar’s Law, long before most people were talking about any of it. She was part of a movement that helped change the way Australians think about the sale and welfare of companion animals.
Her courage, conviction and unwavering devotion to animal welfare shaped my values in a way that changed how I see the world.
Over the years, I’ve watched Michelle carry responsibilities most of us will never endure in three lifetimes.
She has faced challenges quietly and humbly, rebuilt without fanfare, and forged ahead through adversity with the same fierce heart she had on the day I met her.
Her endurance, strength and unwavering focus on animal welfare led her to establish One At A Time Pet Rescue (OAAT).
Not for recognition. Not for praise. Simply because animals needed her.
My support for OAAT is really my support for this remarkable woman and the work she has dedicated herself to.
