Where It All Began
Liv & Loe began long before the first pillowcase was sewn. It started with two granddaughters — Olivia and Chloe — who filled my world with colour, imagination, and the kind of joy that makes you want to create something lasting.
They became my muses. They became the name. They became the reason.
Looking for Something Better
One night, after another “silk” pillowcase slid off the bed, I realised something wasn’t right. The fabric was synthetic, slippery, and pretending to be something it wasn’t. Satin is a weave, not a fibre — and the more I learned, the clearer it became: people were being sold the illusion of silk.
Real silk — the kind that supports skin, hair, allergies, and sleep — was hard to find. And when I did find it, it was always the same: safe whites, soft pastels, nothing bold, nothing beautiful, nothing worthy of the twin princesses who inspired me.
So I decided to make it myself.
Made with Intention
I went back to the beginning — China’s Silk Road — where mulberry silk has been perfected for centuries. I chose 6A grade mulberry silk, the highest quality available, and designed a pillowcase that solved every frustration:
